P.E.I. man breaches probation to steal from Superstore in Summerside

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 30-year-old Summerside man was in court after he breached probation and committed theft recently.

Wayne Joseph Gallant pleaded guilty to one count of stealing property valued at less than $5,000 from Atlantic Superstore in Summerside, and one count of breaching a probation order to stay away from Superstore.

Gallant was sentenced to spend 12 months in conditional custody as well as 18 months of probation.
