Gas prices inch up again in P.E.I. May 29

Gas prices have inched up another 1.5 cents per litre while diesel costs an additional 1.1 cpl after the May 29 petroleum pricing adjustment.

At self-serve outlets, regular, unleaded gasoline now costs between 92.5 and 93.6 cpl, while diesel prices range from 91.4 to 92.6 cpl.

There is no change to the price of furnace oil, which continues to cost 60.7 cpl.

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment is June 5.
