Failing to obey basic rules of the road could result in a fine from Charlottetown police, even in the smallest of the city’s neighbourhoods.

Four motorists were given fines in December near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Skyview Drive for moving violations of a non-speeding nature. That could include anything from failing to signal or not coming to a stop at a stop sign.

Atlantic and Skyview streets connect Belvedere Avenue with North River Road.

Three fines were also handed out at intersections along Brackley Point Road as well as three fines at intersections along University Avenue.
