Parking tickets issued in Charlottetown on par with last year

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Parking commissionaires issued almost the same number of tickets in February of this year as they did during the same time period a year ago.

Commissionaires wrote out 2,370 tickets last month compared to the 2,391 in February of 2018.

So far this year, commissionaires have written 4,384 parking tickets, down from the 5,138 they had written by the end of February last year.

Under the nuisance bylaw, 35 tickets were issued last month, bringing the number this year to 101.

Under the dog bylaw, 23 tickets were issued in February, bringing the total for the year to 49.
