Last Friday, March 2, a person arrived at their home in Charlottetown to find an unfamiliar person in her driveway.
The homeowner called out to the unfamiliar person, who then quickly left in a vehicle that had pulled up.
The homeowner then realized the individual had left behind a number of items that were taken from her home.
Charlottetown Police Services were soon on the trail and intercepted the suspect vehicle a short time later.
A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with break and enter. He will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
The investigation remains active and further charges may be forthcoming.
