CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — All of Charlottetown’s 12 outdoor rinks were scheduled to be up and running as of early February.
Frank Quinn, manager of the parks and recreation department, told the parks and recreation committee at its last public meeting Jan. 31 that 10 of the 12 rinks were up and running and that the other two were under construction but close to opening.
Coun. Bob Doiron said he’s grateful that one of the two additional rinks this year is located at Centennial Park while Coun. Kevin Ramsay said the same thing in reference to the rink at Rosemount Park.
