One person sent to hospital following single-vehicle collision in Long River

LONG RIVER, P.E.I. — One person was transported to hospital Saturday night following a single-vehicle collision on the Burlington Road in Long River.
An RCMP officer at the scene told The Guardian the car went off the shoulder of the road. He said the driver walked from the car to the ambulance.
Along with East Prince RCMP, Island EMS, the Kensington Fire Department, Kensington Police Service and a local towing company responded. The fire department returned to the station shortly after arriving on the scene.
