CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 37-year-old North Milton man has been charged with drunk driving.
4:55 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, Charlottetown police responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on the perimeter highway.
Police were able to locate the vehicle and pulled it over.
The driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol and was arrested. He provided breath sample over three times the legal limit and was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
The accused spent the night in jail, was released the following day and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
