Two planned concerts that were originally scheduled to take place at Confederation Landing Park won’t be going ahead.

Charlottetown’s intergovernmental affairs and event attraction committee said the shows were cancelled.

Wayne Long, events development officer with the city, told the event attraction committee at its last meeting that PMD Entertainment, the promoter behind the proposed concerts, had cancelled the shows.

There was never any official word on what dates the shows were to have occurred or what acts would be performing.
