ALMA, P.E.I. — THREE RIVERS — No one was injured during a minor accident involving a private bus and a truck on Union Road in Kings County in December.

RCMP Sgt. Chris Gunn said there were only two people on the bus at the time and one of them was taking a practice drive as she worked toward getting a class of licence for that type of vehicle.

There are several conditions drivers must meet before getting the class of licence to drive a bus, including that they must have a person with the appropriate class of licence with them while operating the vehicle. They must also meet current medical standards for drivers.

Gunn said the person driving the bus met all necessary requirements.

He also said roads were snow covered when the bus and the other vehicle clipped mirrors, causing no injuries.
