CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — There will be no change in the price of gas as drivers on Prince Edward Island head into the holiday weekend.

Pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will continue to range from 115.8 cpl to 117 cpl.

There is also no change in the price of diesel or furnace oil. Pump prices for self-serve diesel will continue to range from 124 cpl to 125.1 cpl. Including taxes, the maximum price for furnace oil will continue to be 94.2 cpl.  

Propane prices will decrease by 0.7 cpl for Superior Propane, by 1.4 cpl for Island Petroleum, by 0.2 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing and by 1 cpl for both Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum. Maximum before tax propane prices will range from 69.1 to 70.1 cpl. 

The prices were effective as of 12:01 a.m. today. The commission’s next scheduled price adjustment is Friday, Sept. 6.
