No change in gas prices Oct. 16 on P.E.I.

There is no change in the price of gasoline on Prince Edward Island this morning.

At self-serve outlets, prices for regular unleaded gasoline will range from 100.7 to 101.9 cpl.

However, the price of diesel has increased by 1.5 cents per litre (cpl). The price for diesel now ranges from 101.1 to 102.2 cpl.

Also going up by 1.5 cents per litre is the price of furnace oil to a maximum price of 71.7 cpl.

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the prices as of 12:01 a.m. today. For current petroleum prices visit irac.pe.ca.

The commission’s next scheduled price adjustment is Oct. 23.
