CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Police in Charlottetown arrested a federal parolee from New Brunswick over the weekend.

The parolee, 29-year-old Peter Chisholm, failed to return for his curfew in Saint John, N.B. and has been unlawfully at large since Aug. 4.

Charlottetown Police Services had been informed that Chisholm may be in the city. While on patrol Saturday at around 11:30 p.m., officers saw Chisholm walking down Euston Street.

An officer approached and placed him under arrest.

Chisholm is serving a sentence of six years and four months for a number of offences including robbery, mischief to property and assault.

He was lodged at the Provincial Correctional Centre and will be returned to the federal penitentiary.
