Mount Royal man guilty of driving while disqualified, stealing gas

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Jacob Lee Anderson Bulger, 20, of Mount Royal, has pleaded guilty to one count of operating a motor vehicle while disqualified, one count of stealing gas valued at less than $5,000, and one count of failing to stop a vehicle when prompted by a peace officer.

The charges are from Sept. 2 and occured in Summerside and West Devon.

Bulger was sentenced to serve 74 days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently. He must also serve 18 months of probation, is prohibited from driving for 18 months, must pay $200 in victim surcharges and $50 for the fuel he stole.
