MONTAGUE, P.E.I. — Three people were displaced by a fire early Sunday in eastern P.E.I.

Around 4 a.m., the blaze destroyed a two-storey house on the Valleyfield Road near Montague.

Canadian Red Cross volunteers assisted the residents, Anne Courtney and her adult sons Kyle and Tyson, as well as their pets, with emergency lodging, meals and clothing purchases.

No one was injured in the fire, but family members say the three have lost everything.
