GEORGETOWN, P.E.I. – A P.E.I. man who used a grinder to cut the valve stem off a tire on his victim’s vehicle was sentenced recently to 15 days in jail.

Jonathan Cory MacAdam, 41, appeared before Chief Judge Nancy Orr in provincial court in Georgetown where he pleaded guilty to damaging property.

The court heard that on Sept. 2 MacAdam sent the victim a threatening text message.

MacAdam also took the valve stem off a tire on the victim’s vehicle and cut another with a grinder.

He will serve the sentence intermittently.
