Leo Killorn has come forward to announce his bid for the Charlottetown council seat of Ward 1 - Queens Square.
Having recently retired, Killorn says he wants to devote his time to the issues of the city and be a responsible advocate for the Ward 1 residents.
He has a lifetime connection with the areas encompassing the ward and currently resides there with his wife, Jackie. Killorn has had a long career in the energy, biotech and health fields on P.E.I.
“This area of Charlottetown is quite dynamic, and its importance to the city and the province cannot be overstated,” said Killorn.
“It needs strong and idealistic voices to make sure that what is accomplished is the best solution. I hope to be one of those voices.”
The municipal elections take place Nov. 5 across P.E.I.
