BRACKLEY BEACH, P.E.I. — Work around the entrance to the Brackley Beach portion of P.E.I. National Park will require temporary lane closures starting early next month.
The construction around the kiosks will begin in early September and will be completed in the winter, weather permitting.
The two current kiosks at the Brackley Beach entrance will be replaced with new structures, and the queuing lanes will be extended. Overhead LED signage will also be installed, along with the necessary support structures.
In addition, there will be tree trimming along the roadway leading up to the entrance itself.
Visitors to the park are advised to use caution, respect all on-site signage and closures and to follow instructions from on-site Parks Canada staff or contractors.
Parks Canada will continue to provide updates on this project as work progresses.
