Label Construction reaches deal with City of Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Label Construction will pick up and dispose compost, recyclables and waste for municipal buildings in Charlottetown.

It will cost the city $3,389 per month.

The quote was publicly advertised and closed on May 23.

The one other submission came from Superior Sanitation in the amount of $3,738 per month.

The contract will be in effect for one year and may be extended by an additional year if mutually agreed to by both parties.

Label has been awarded this work for the past few years and the city has had no issues with the service provided.
