Progressive Conservative Leader Dennis King will be holding a policy forum with West Prince residents.
The West Prince solutions workshop will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Mill River Resort at 7 p.m.
“One thing I took away from my years working in the private sector with the fishing industry, First Nations communities and small businesses was the importance of collaboration, mutual respect and innovation to building lasting prosperity and progress,’’ King said. “We had a very successful forum last month during the leadership to discuss issues and now we’re back to work on solutions.’’
The workshop, hosted by the PC riding associations of District 23, 25, 26 and 27, will feature policy discussions around priority issues previously identified by residents at a public forum held last month.
Topics include health care, land use, education, primary industries, the rising cost of living as well as population and rural development.
