CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Island Coastal Ltd. has been awarded the tender for 2019 storm sewer package B.
Island Coastal submitted the low submission of $716,133. This has been expensed in the previously approved 2019-20 capital budget.
The tender was publicly advertised and closed on May 28.
Work will take place at three sites: Green Meadow Drive, on both sides, from Fox Run Drive (north) to Fox Run Drive (south); Hughes Court, on both sides, from East Royalty Road to the end; and on Parent Street, on both sides, from MacRae Drive to the end.
Island Coast beat out higher bids from Birt & MacKay ($727,699) and Earthform ($793,500).
