THREE RIVERS, P.E.I. – A Nine Mile Creek woman was sentenced to seven days in jail for failing a breath test after losing control of her vehicle.
Alicia Dawn MacArthur, 22, was also fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $300 victims of crime surcharge.
MacArthur flipped her vehicle after losing control while travelling west on Route 3 in Summerville.
She suffered minor injuries but was assisted by passersby in getting out of the vehicle.
“She was lucky that she got away with only minor injuries,’’ Crown attorney Nathan Beck told provincial court Thursday.
