Suppertime traffic crosses the Hillsborough Bridge connecting Stratford and Charlottetown on Tuesday. The bridge was the site of 31 collisions, including one fatality, from 2013 to the end of 2017.

On Sunday, Nov. 17, the Hillsborough Bridge will be reduced to one lane inbound and one lane outbound from approximately 8:30 a.m. until noon.

Crews will be removing a damaged overhead sign structure.

Drivers should allow extra time for crossing the bridge at this time.

Slow down in construction zones and follow the directions of traffic control personnel and signs.

This work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if there are high winds.
