Hells Angels court case in Charlottetown adjourned

Several alleged members and supporters of the Hells Angels prospect club in Charlottetown arrived individually and in small groups to provincial court Monday, where alleged gang members were attending a hearing into participating in organized crime activities. CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Alleged members of the Hells Angels prospect club in Charlottetown appeared in provincial court Monday.

The nine alleged members were present, but four still do not have council.

All matters were adjourned until Feb. 23.

P.E.I.’s organized crime task force arrested the alleged members in August.

They were charged with taking in money for games of chance without a lottery licence.

Each of them is also facing charges related to participating in activities of a criminal organization and committing an offence for a criminal organization.
