SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 31-year-old St. Chrysostome man was in provincial court recently after he fled the scene of an accident.

Ryan Elmer Arsenault pleaded guilty to one count of fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

The charge is from July 14 in Summerside.

Arsenault was sentenced to serve seven days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently.

He must also serve probation until his time is served and is prohibited from driving for 12 months.
