The Green party of P.E.I. has nominated tradesman Greg Bradley as its candidate in Brackley-Hunter River.
Bradley, who was unopposed, was nominated Saturday.
He has worked as a carpenter for a variety of companies for over 40 years, as well as a welder and metal fabricator at the Georgetown shipyard. He worked in a leadership capacity on the construction of the Confederation Bridge, helping to build the drop-in girders which were, at the time, considered to be the longest continuous concrete pours of their type in the world. He is currently pursuing accreditation as a real estate agent.
He has volunteered with the Canada Games, Special Olympics P.E.I. and Cornwall Citizens on Patrol. He has also been active in community theatre, performing with the Stratford Players for several years.
Bradley ran unsuccessfully for Stratford Town Council in 2000 and was an active volunteer during the 2016 plebiscite on electoral reform.
