There is no change in the price of furnace oil or diesel but the price of gas rose by two cents in the overnight petroleum pricing adjustment.
At self-serve outlets, regular, unleaded gasoline now ranges from 98.0 to 99.1 cents per litre and diesel costs between 99.0 to 100.2 cpl. The maximum price for furnace oil is 68.0 cpl.
The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission also approved adjustments to the price of propane as of July 3. Propane prices decreased by 0.2 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing; by 1.0 cpl for Superior Propane, Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum; and by 0.5 cpl for Island Petroleum. Maximum prices for propane range from 76.2 cpl to 77.2 cpl.
The commission’s next scheduled price adjustment is July 10.
