SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Four people have been charged after a home invasion that occurred Dec. 5 at a Summerside residence.
Police received a report of the incident on Dec. 13 and opened an investigation.
The owner of the Bayview Drive house reported the individuals entered his home while he was there and proceeded to steal several items from the residence.
The suspects were known to the victim. Police say this was not a random incident.
As a result, 46-year-old Christopher Raymond O’Halloran, 39-year-old Anne Marie Gallant, 55-year-old Dale Frederick Wall and 29-year-old Amanda Christine Murphy have been charged with robbery and forcible confinement.
O’Halloran and Murphy were arrested Dec. 17 after police were called to a disturbance at a King Street residence.
Wall and Gallant were arrested Jan. 7 by Kensington police after officers were called to investigate a complaint at a home on MacLean Avenue.
O’Halloran has been remanded into custody since his arrest. Wall, Murphy and Gallant were released on conditions.
The foursome will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
