CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Four Charlottetown residents – two men and two women – have been charged as the result of an ongoing drug investigation.
The Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit charged the residents following a vehicle stop Thursday night.
8 p.m. on July 2, a vehicle associated to the investigation was pulled over on the Sherwood Road.
A significant quantity of crystal meth and cash was seized.
Police also seized marijuana, hash, speed, weapons and other drug related paraphernalia.
The four residents – a 32-year-old man, a 24-year-old man, a 45-year-old woman and a 35-year-old woman have all been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They have been released with conditions and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
