Former MP Gail Shea to be roasted

SUMMERSIDE - Islanders will have a chance to wish Gail Shea well and have some fun at the expense of the former Egmont MP and provincial MLA, at the Roast of Gail Shea set for late April.

The event, organized by the Egmont Conservative Association, will feature friends and former co-workers of Shea’s roasting the former federal cabinet minister.

Roasters include former P.E.I. premier Pat Binns, Peter MacKay, former federal cabinet member, Ron MacKinley, former P.E.I. MLA, and New Brunswick MP Tilly O’Neill-Gordon, as well as a surprise roaster. The master of ceremonies is Senator Fabian Manning.

Tickets are available from any member of the Egmont executive.

The event takes place April 28 at Credit Union Place in Summerside.
