CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for all three counties in P.E.I.
Very windy conditions with snow and some rain is forecast to impact the province on Thursday night into Friday.
Winds are expected to gust between 70 and 90 km/h.
Snowfall is expected to be five centimetres in Kings and Queens counties with a possible 15 centimetres falling in Prince County.
Snow is expected to begin Thursday evening and then change to rain Friday morning. Very strong winds will also develop with the highest wind gusts occurring Friday morning. Conditions will improve late Friday.
