CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The MSC Meraviglia towered in the Charlottetown Harbour on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Heavy and cold rain fell throughout the day and kept most 4,500 passengers and 1,500 crew of the ship from venturing to far into the city.

Measuring 315 metres long, the Meraviglia is the tallest and widest ship to port in Charlottetown.

For 2019, Charlottetown has seen a record 99 ships, over 146,000 passengers and over 63,000 crew.
