STRATFORD — The year 2018 was one for the record books when it came to development in Stratford.
A development summary provided during Wednesday’s council meeting showed that Stratford more than doubled its previous best year for development in 2018.
Coun. Jill Burridge said more than $72 million in construction permits was approved during 2018.
Prior to that, the town’s best year for construction saw $31 million approved in permits.
The development included about 220 residential permits.
