CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The deadline is fast approaching for entries into the City of Charlottetown’s 21st annual Christmas Parade. Applications are being accepted until Friday, Nov. 15.
The parade will take place Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry food bank will be collecting non-perishable food items along the parade route.
Children are also encouraged to bring their letters for Santa to be collected by Canada Post employees.
The parade is a fun-filled evening event with festive lights and music. The first 100 entries that meet the requirements are accepted into the parade. There is no entry fee.
The application form is available at Charlottetown.ca/parade. It’s also available at City Hall at 199 Queen Street or by calling 902-566-5548.
Completed applications can be returned via email to Charlotte Nicholson at [email protected] or dropped off in person at City Hall.
Participants are reminded to heed the instructions from parade organizers, security and police to make this a safe and fun event for all.
