CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — One of the main arteries into Charlottetown will be impacted Monday morning by line and crosswalk painting.

The city said the work will take place on University Avenue, at Brown’s Court intersection in front of UPEI, between 5 and 10 a.m. Short-term lane closures will be in place, but traffic flow will be maintained.

Sidewalk work is scheduled to take place this week on Queen Street, between Nassau Street and Emerald Drive; Pownal Street, between Kent and Grafton streets; and All Souls Lane, between Pownal and Rochford streets.

The reduction of Kent Street, between Great George and Prince streets, to one lane remains in place for construction related to the Fitzroy Parkade expansion. The lane closure will continue until the project is completed, which is anticipated to be at the end of July.
