Cornwall Road realignment work to begin June 24

CORNWALL, P.E.I. — Work starts on the Cornwall Road realignment on June 24.

Construction work will begin north of the Route 1 and Heatherway Drive intersection and includes storm sewer, sidewalk and road reconstruction.

Two-way, one-lane traffic will be maintained during the work. The province asks drivers to reduce speed, be prepared to stop and follow the instructions of signs and traffic control personnel.

The work is expected to be completed by August 23.
