MONTAGUE, P.E.I. — The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is having a grand opening of its new office in Montague on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a free barbecue open to the public until 1 p.m.

This will be the CMHA’s fourth location on P.E.I. There are offices in Charlottetown, Summerside and Alberton as well.

CMHA provides programs and services Islandwide, delivers education and training, and engages in research, advocacy and the development of social policy. Recovery and after-care community-based programs and services are key strengths of the organization.

Matt Younker, president of the P.E.I. branch of the CMHA, said the grand opening is a chance for the public to find out more about the organizations programs and services  as well as meet staff working in the new office.
