CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, Nov. 4, at 2 a.m., and Islanders are reminded to adjust clocks to “fall back” one hour by adjusting the time backward.
The Charlottetown Fire Department, including firefighters, from left, Brad Kennedy, Bruce Younker and Bobby Chandler, encourage residents to use the end of Daylight Savings Time as a reminder to change the batteries in smoke alarms and update or install new smoke alarms.
Members of the Charlottetown Fire Department will be at McDonalds on University Avenue on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., handing out batteries for smoke alarms and reiterating fire safety messages.
