CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The City of Charlottetown is looking to keep up the momentum it has enjoyed in hosting a number of events throughout the year.
A master schedule of events and meetings for 2020 will be presented to Charlottetown’s economic development, tourism and events management committee at its monthly meeting in February.
Staff with the city recently completed data inputs for the Global Sport Index, results of which will be unveiled during the Canadian Sport Events Congress in March.
Charlottetown is currently ranked No. 1 in sport-event hosting in Canada based on population in the under-50,000 category and No. 6 overall.
