CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The City of Charlottetown has spent more than $291,000 on a fleet of new vehicles for the public works and parks and recreation departments.
Summerside Chrysler Dodge will supply three half-tonne crew cab trucks, two three-quarter tonne crew cab trucks and one one-tonne crew cab truck chassis.
The tender for these vehicles was publicly advertised and closed on May 22.
The city also spent $5,500 for two half-tonne crew cab trucks and one car for Charlottetown Police Services from Reliable Motors. The amount includes the trade-in value of four vehicles from the police department.
