CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A Charlottetown woman who pleaded guilty to abetting a breach of a probation order was given a suspended sentence Thursday.

Paige Elizabeth Batchilder, 34, appeared before Judge John Douglas in provincial court in Charlottetown where she entered the guilty plea.

The court heard Batchilder was one of the people that another person wasn’t supposed to have contact with as part of a probation order.

On Dec. 2, Batchilder was seen in a Superstore with the man.

With the suspended sentence, Batchilder will be on probation for one year.
