CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The city is going to pay consultants CBCL Ltd. half a million dollars to develop a growth management strategy for the water and sewer utility.

The strategy will include reviewing infrastructure within the city and surrounding areas that could one day be incorporated into the municipality.

It will also provide means to address future infrastructure needs, including road networks, storm water management and water and sewer master plans.

CBCL would also be responsible for recommending necessary upgrades and cost estimates for any proposed upgrades.
