This work consists of the expansion of the University Avenue and Enman Crescent (south) intersection, including the widening of the roadway and work on the median. Only minor traffic delays are expected, and traffic control personnel will be on site.

Longworth Avenue, at the Confederation Trail crossing, will be one lane of alternating traffic to allow for crosswalk improvement work. Traffic control personnel will be on-site to direct vehicle traffic.

Work will continue on upgrades to the pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Great George Street and Fitzroy Street. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, at times, with alternating traffic. Traffic control personnel will be on-site to direct motorists. Pedestrians are advised that the existing overhead crossing light will be removed while the work is ongoing and will be reinstated upon completion.

Advanced notice:

Work will begin on Thursday, Oct. 22 on Water Street.
