Traffic disruptions and road closures are possible on several Charlottetown streets Thursday, Sept. 6.

Athol Drive between Windymere Drive and Lyne Avenue will be closed for the day for sewer work.

Sidewalk work will continue on Dorchester Street between Hillsborough Street and Weymouth Street, on Peake Street between Victoria Street and Churchill Avenue, and on Chestnut Street from Queen Street to Spring Park Road. This work may cause minor delays in traffic.

Curbing work will continue on Westridge Crescent between Glenthorn Avenue and Patterson Drive and may cause minor delays for traffic in the area.

Construction for the Water and Sewer Utility Infrastructure Renewal program will continue with traffic impacts along Belvedere Avenue this week. It’s anticipated that traffic will experience some delays as a result of this work. Traffic control personnel will be on-site to direct motorists. Sidewalks in the area may be impacted during this work. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
