Charlottetown traffic advisory for Sunday, July 12

To accommodate the Downtown Charlottetown Farmers’ Market, Queen Street will be closed between Grafton and Sydney streets every Sunday (beginning July 12 through to September 27) from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be no parking in this designated area between 3 a.m. and 5 p.m. every Sunday.

During the same timeframe, Richmond Street will be closed from Pownal to Queen streets.

Any vehicles left inside the event zone will be towed at the owner’s expense. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes during the market and reduce speed when travelling in areas with increased pedestrian traffic.

The Downtown Charlottetown Farmers’ Market is open to the public on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is reminded to practice physical distancing and wear a mask when distancing is not possible. For more information, visit:
