CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The City of Charlottetown has issued the following traffic interruptions expected for Monday, July 22:

  • Line and arrow painting will take place on University Avenue, between Connolly Street and Belvedere Avenue. Traffic delays should be expected in the area, including possible one lane alternating traffic, between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • Paving will continue on Queen Street, between Nassau Street and Kirkwood Drive. This section will be closed for the morning, weather permitting.
  • Queen Street, between Kirkwood Drive and Pond Street, will be reduced to one lane alternating traffic for the day, weather permitting. 
  • Greensview Drive, between Kensington Road and Davids Lane, will be closed for storm water management work. Local traffic will be permitted. 
  • Lower Malpeque Road, between Sherwood Road and Thorndale Drive, will be reduced to one lane alternating traffic. This work is expected to continue for the week of July 22.
  • Sidewalk work will take place on Pleasant Street, between Euston Street and Longworth Avenue, as well as on Coles Drive, between Brackley Point Road and Heather Avenue.
