CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown residents can once again make online payments for city water and sewer utility bills and parking tickets.

Both the city website and the Charlottetown police website have been updated with the new links to follow for payments.

Customers using the online payment application for utility bills will be asked to create an account during their first login.

The Charlottetown police ticket payment system is part of a new electronic ticket system for parking infractions, which will replace the handwritten tickets previously used.

Officers and commissionaires will be equipped with devices that will print the new tickets at the scene of any vehicles found in violation.

These new tickets will also go directly into the electronic database making them immediately available for payment.
