CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — For the second day in a row, Santa’s Tour in Charlottetown has been postponed due to weather.
Due to the rain in Wednesday’s forecast, the City of Charlottetown has bumped Wednesday’s schedule to Sunday, Dec. 6.
Going forward, the Charlottetown Christmas Parade’s Santa Claus Comes to Town tour will be in the neighbourhoods as follows:
* Thursday, Dec. 3 – East Royalty, Hillsborough Park, and Sherwood-Parkdale (between Brackley Point and St. Peter’s roads);
* Friday, Dec. 4 – Winsloe and West Royalty;
* Saturday, Dec. 5 – Sherwood-Parkdale (between Mount Edward and Brackley Point roads) and city centre (north of Euston Street, east of Spring Park Road and south of Kirkwood Drive-Allen Street);
* Sunday, Dec. 6 – City centre (north of Brighton Road-Euston Street, west of University Avenue, south of Capital Drive).
All tours will begin at 5:30 p.m. nightly and are anticipated to take approximately two hours to complete. Detailed route maps are available at charlottetown.ca/santatours.
