CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — With the warmer weather upon us, theft from vehicles overnight has become more prevalent.

Charlottetown police are reminding the public to keep their vehicle doors locked and remove valuables from inside.

Police have responded to several occurrences of theft from vehicles over the last few nights.

Streets targeted were:

  • Upper Hillsborough Street
  • Kensington Road
  • Callbeck Crescent
  • Elena Court
  • Alexander Drive
  • Lewis Point Road
  • Wedgewood Avenue
  • Falconwood Drive

Charlottetown police have stepped up patrols in these areas.
