CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown police wrote plenty of speeding tickets in February.

The biggest speed trap was the arterial highway between Brackley Point Road and St. Peters Road where 10 fines were handed out.

Coming in a close second was Fourth Street, which connects the West Royalty Industrial Park to the arterial highway. Police issued nine speeding tickets there.

Next was on North River Road by Queen Charlotte Intermediate School where eight speeding fines were written.

In fourth place was University Avenue by McKinnon Road, across from the entrance to UPEI, where seven tickets were issued.

Rounding out the top five was University Avenue by Enman Crescent, which is the entrance to Charlottetown Rural High School, where five speeding tickets were issued.
